The Boishakhi Mela take place in every year to celebrate Bengali New Year and this is 14th year of celebration in Banglatown Briklane London. People around the world talk and hear about it as a popular community festival. This year it will be two days program with trade fair on 19th May and main mela and cultural program on 20th May. You can enjoy the true essence of the festivities showcasing Bangladeshi heritage.

East London Express actively participating in this event. You will find many offers and discounts on admission and can collect free Boishaki head band from our stall.

International Mother Language Day 2012

East London Express celebrated 21 February International Mother language Day at Altaf Ali Park, Whitechaple Road, London. ELE participated in Provat Ferri and shown honour those, who sacrificed lives to protect their mother tongue. Bangladesh High Commissioner and many local social, media organizations attended that event.

Higher Education Open Day 2012

East London Express have successfully organized higher education open day on 3 January 2012. Numbers of universities and Colleges participate on that event. Students found information about university course curriculum. In the closing ceremony there was a question-answer session where students had opportunities to find out more about recent changes from UKBA.
